A small-scale trial on basil in the Niagara College greenhouse was performed using NEREA® as media amendment embedded with nutrients. Crop performance was measured from germination to harvest and compared between standard peat moss-based media (control) and peat moss blends with NEREA® at 0%, 25%, 50% and 75%.
